Joining the MPCS Family

We are so exciting that you are interested in enrolling at Midtown Public Charter School!

About:

MPCS is PUBLIC, so it is free and open to 5th - 8th grade students in the Jackson Public Schools OR those students attending a school district with a C, D or F rating (unsure how your district ranks? Check out this website).

If more applications are submitted than slots available prior to the application deadline ALL students will be placed in a random enrollment lottery. Once all slots are filled, the remaining names will be drawn and placed on a waiting list. Students applying after the application deadline and once all slots are filled will be placed on the waitlist in the order of application.

The only preferences honored in the enrollment process are:

  1. For siblings of students already enrolled, and

  2. For the children of Midtown Partners staff members

Steps:

  1. Determine if MPCS is the right school for you. For more info, click here.

  2. If you love MPCS as much as we hope you will, complete an application. You can find more information here.

  3. If admitted into MPCS, you'll have one week to accept your offer. You can find more information here.

  4. After you accept your offer, complete the registration process. You can find more information here.
